Lot 2: EXTENDING THE CHIMNEY AND REPAIRING THE COLD ROOM

1. The Rwanda Social Security Board (hereinafter called ‘’Client”) has a budget towards the cost of Supply of 2 Air Conditioners, Extending the Chimney and repairing the Cold room The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Bidding Document is issued.

2. The Rwanda Social Security Board invites qualified bidders to submit bids for the tender as mentioned in the statement of Requirements.

3. Tender Documents in English may be obtained from Monday 07th October 2013 at RSSB headquarters/Kiyovu in (procurement unit 7th floor) upon presentation of proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of 10,000 FRw (Ten thousand francs) to Account N° 040-0281146-73, for RSSB entitled ’’Revenus d’investissement’’ opened at Bank of Kigali.

4. Tender Documents may be obtained on any working day from 7:00 hours to 17:00 hours at the Rwanda Social Security Board Headquarters at Kiyovu/Kigali, in the procurement office, 7th floor.

5. All bids for supply of Air conditioners shall be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bidder’s offer.

6. Enquiries regarding this tender may be addressed to Director General of RSSB, P.O. BOX 250 or 6655 KIGALI.

7. Well typed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original enclosed in envelopes, must reach Rwanda Social Security Board headquarters at Kiyovu not later than 07th November 2013 at 2:00 o’clock pm. Late bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 10th floor, RSSB Building in the meeting room on 07th November 2013 at 2:30 pm hours.

9. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title.

10. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Law N° 12/2007 of 27/03/2007 on Public Procurement.

11. The site visit is scheduled to take place on 23th October 2013 at 2:30 pm hours
at RSSB Headquarter.
